Jacqueline "Jax" Santos serves as the Ergonomic Specialist at the U.S. Department of State. She has a Master's degree in Global Affairs from the University of Oklahoma. Jax is a native of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas and is a proud Mexican American with Lipan Apache heritage. She previously worked as a Special Agent for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and was previously an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the U.S. Department of State. She is a member of UNA-NCA and the UNA Women Affinity Group, advocating for UN initiatives that advance the rights of women and girls and promote global women’s empowerment.
