About the event

Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab is a gothic horror novel that follows three women—María (16th-century Spain), Charlotte (19th-century London), and Alice (21st-century Boston)—whose lives become intertwined after they are transformed into vampires. The book explores themes of eternal life, female agency, desire, and escaping destructive patterns across centuries, using vampirism as a metaphor for hunger and power within a sapphic narrative.
